Carly Obertello

I am so grateful to be the Second Grade ELA teacher here at HPS! I really love social studeis and science, and I have a Science Specialization along with my Bachelors Degree and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. This is my 8th year teaching, and my 2nd with Navigator. I truly am loving it here, and I am amazed at all the wonderful things Navigators are doing. 

I moved to Hollister from San Diego in 2012 when I finished getting my credential. I had met Andy (who is now my husband) in 2009, and chose to make the change. I took a job in Salinas teaching at Santa Rita Elementary where I learned so much. On March 10, 2018 we had our first child, Erin Quinn and I once again decided to make a change and teach here in Hollister so that I could be closer to her. I found HPS and I love it here! 

We have two dogs that we love very much, and they like to go places with us! We enjoy camping and going to the lake. Andy races cars, and you can often find us at a race track on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Ocean Speedway, at the Santa Cruz Fair Grounds in Watsonville, is our home track. We'd love to see you at a race!
